2021 witnesses the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Great Communist Party of China, as well as the first year of opening a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist nation, and advancing toward the second centenary goal. Facing the unprecedented change over 100 years, the entire Group is fully confident, and remains dedicated  and strategically determined towards development. We are poised to stay focused and resolutely move towards the objectives.

 

Depite impact and challenges in terms of chip shortage, rising cost of raw material, sudden pandemic attack, transformation and upgrade, we worked very hard to fulfill the arduous task of reform and development, embracing a good start of 14th Five-Year Plan, a more solid foundation for quality and development, and the continuously sound development situation. The expected yearly production and sales of vehicle is 2.119 million units and 2.14 million units, a year-on-year growth of 4.1% and 4.7%. The independent brand of new energy vehicle GAC AION is expected to break the production and sales of 120,000 units. Apart from year-on-year positive growth of main business indicators, the total industrial output was RMB 347.58 billion, local output was 324.11 billion, a year-on-year growth of 8.9% and 9.6%, and the aggregate of profit and tax was 54.5 billion, a year-on-year growth of 10.1%. All three indicators exceed the planned figures. Meanwhile, GAC lifted its place to No. 176 in the Fortune global 500. The results of three-year action of the state-owned enterprise reform were significant. Besides, in terms of technology innovation, GAC Group achieved significant breakthrough in a number of core automobile technologies.

2022 is a critical year for the development of the "14th Five-year Plan", as well as the first year for the Group to implement a new tenure of professional managers and the executives of all entities to implement the tenure system and contract management. The Group will go all out to achieve the target of 15% year-on-year growth in vehicle production and sales in 2022.

 

Looking into the Group's "14th Five-Year Plan" to check the reform and development tasks, we will follow the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress and all the plenary sessions of the 19th Party Congress, and carry forward the great spirit of Party building.We will also follow the overall tone of seeking steady progress, and stand in the new development phase to fully, precisely and comprehensively implement the new development idea and speed up construction of the new pattern of development. To keep in mind the yearly objectives, GAC Group will focus on strategic implementation, customer experience, development quality, second take-off, reform on connectivity, automation, car sharing, electrification, empowerment and brand upgrade, and seek new breakthrough and grand achievements with respect to high quality development, and fully display its strategic vision, strength, legacy, responsibility!
