On August 27, the 4th State-owned Enterprise Social Value Forum and ESG China·Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Corporate Social Responsibility Press Conference was held in Guangzhou. The event was organized by China Enterprise Reform, Development Society and Responsibility Cloud Research Institute, and co-organized by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, with the support of Guangzhou SASAC, Zhuhai SASAC, Foshan SASAC and Dongguan SASAC. The forum officially released the fourth Research Report on Corporate Social Value of State-owned Enterprises in the Greater Bay Area (2024) (hereinafter referred to as the “Blue Book on Social Value”) and the second Research Report on Listed Companies Controlled by Stated-owned Enterprise in the Greater Bay Area (2024) (hereinafter referred to as the “ESG Blue Book”). The case submitted by GAC Group was included as one of the top ten cases in the "Building A Green and Beautiful Guangdong" section. GAC Group was also selected in the Social Value Management of SOEs in the Greater Bay Area·30 Pioneers Index and ESG Development Index of SOEs.

According to the selection results, GAC Group’s case, GAC Group Donates Start-up Funds of Millions of RMB to Support ‘Green and Beautiful Guangzhou Fund’ stood out among more than 150 SOE social value cases in the Greater Bay Area. It was selected as the top ten cases in “Building a Green and Beautiful Guangdong” section in the Blue Book on Social Value, fully demonstrating GAC Group’s aspiration of fulfilling its role as a SOE and contributing to green and harmonious development.

In addition, GAC Group was selected in the ESG Development Index of SOEs in the Greater Bay Area of ESG Blue Book and Social Value Management of SOEs in the Greater Bay Area·30 Pioneers Index of Blue Book on Social Value. The ESG Development Index of SOE in the Greater Bay Area aims to select the top 30 enterprises based on their overall performance and specific performance in ESG governance, social value and risk management. GAC Group ranked first in the ESG Development Index of SOEs, which represents the recognition of all sectors of society for GAC Group’s stable operations and sustainable development capabilities.
