China Automotive Brand Quality Ranking List (the "List") was officially released recently by the Chinese Automobile Quality Network, organized by aqsiqauto.com of China Quality Press of the State Administration for Market Regulation. GAC Honda, GAC Toyota, GAC Motor, AION and HYPTEC all rank among the best in the list, reflecting the industry and market's recognition for the quality of GAC Group's brands.

 

The list is based on the Safety of Motor Vehicle Product-Guidelines for Risk Assessment and Risk Control and Judgment Guidelines for Serious Safety-Related Fault of Household Automobile issued by the General Administration for Market Regulation and Administration of the People's Republic of China and the Standardization Administration. By analyzing the complaints, failures, defects, risks, reliability, safety, and environmental protection of the models, combined with the evaluation data of authoritative research institutions, the list determines the quality ranking of various models in the first-half of 2024 with impartiality, providing consumers with the latest accurate quality situation of each model. The smaller the score, the better the quality, with no upper score limit. The evaluation targets are new energy models that have been in the market for the entire first-half of 2024, excluding imported models.

 

Having won first place in the China Automotive Brand Quality Ranking List (new energy) in 2023, AION again came first in the quality ranking of new energy compact SUVs and mid-sized SUVs (EV) in the first-half of 2024.
