On the afternoon of February 4, 2020, the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission held the "Donation Ceremony of Medical Supplies for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Guangzhou City". At the ceremony, GAC Group donated 5 million yuan in cash, 20 GAC Motor cars worth 3 million yuan, 2,000 surgical gowns, 10,000 N95 masks and other protection articles to the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission. The money and articles, worth 8.35 million yuan in total, will be allocated by the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission to all the hospitals.

Since January 26, GAC Group, in conjunction with subordinate enterprises, has made donations for several times, in order to assist in the epidemic prevention and control. On January 26, GAC Group declared that it, together with GAC Honda, GAC Toyota and GAC Motor, donated 5 million yuan in cash and materials. On January 31, it additionally donated 9 million yuan in cash and materials. In addition to new donations this day, GAC Group has cumulatively donated cash and materials exceeding 22 million yuan. Particularly, the headquarters of GAC Group has made donations over 15 million yuan.
