On May 17th, Guangzhou Greater Bay Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Greater Bay Technology”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with TELD New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TELD”) in Panyu District, Guangzhou. 10 XFC (eXtreme Fast Charging) supercharger stations built by both parties were also officially launched in Guangzhou. According to the plan, both parties will jointly build 1,000 supercharger stations in numerous Chinese cities from 2022 to 2025, and build 300 supercharger stations or more in Guangdong, Hainan, etc. before the end of 2023. With the common goal of enabling the industry transformation into new energy, both sides will complement each other’s advantages and work together to promote the construction of an XFC supercharger ecosystem to create more convenient charging scenarios for more users so as to drive the transformation and upgrading of auto industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the realization of China’s “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” goals. The first 10 Greater Bay-TELD XFC supercharger stations have been officially launched in Guangzhou, forming high-power charging scenarios at quick charge stations, national roads and provincial roads in 5 core areas. Operated in a “quasi-gas station” model, the supercharger terminal has a maximum power output of 600KW, so that 5-minute charging time makes it possible to travel more than 300km.
